Established in 1912, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in Herrin, Illinois continues the Catholic traditions by serving families in the parishes of Williamson County and beyond. Pre-K through 8th grade, OLMC School provides religious formation, academic excellence, and a social consciousness within a disciplined, caring and safe environment. Students learn to become knowledgeable and active in their faith, academically and to develop strong moral character. At OLMC, education is a high priority. Our school provides a loving, learning environment where the entire community of teachers, parents and students are committed to academic and personal successes. We seek to prepare children in mind and spirit during these formative years, to give them the tools necessary to live a life full of hope, peace and joy, regardless of what challenges the future might hold for them.
